Since 1971, Forsberg Flowers has held a generational impact throughout the Marquette community. This season marks their 53rd Mother's Day celebration.
"We've had a tremendous following locally," said Lou Ann Balding, a previous owner and designer for Forsberg Flowers.
The Forsberg family of five, with parents Gale and David, Mary Lou and her brothers Steve and Mark all originally started the shop together. Throughout its years, the store has expanded to work with local growers and other local businesses, especially around these popular occasions.
"We probably wouldn't have had such a successful Mother's Day without them," said Bobby Glenn Brown, the store manager for Forsberg Flowers.
