Smithers-Oasis UK is unveiling a brand new service designed to take the hassle out of one of the most creative – but time-consuming – parts of floristry: custom floral tributes. With the launch of a 2D shape service for Oasis Floral Foam, florists across the UK can now create personalised tributes faster and more easily than before.

A personal touch
Floral tributes are such an important part of a UK florist's work, and one-of-a-kind custom pieces are a popular way to celebrate the life, passions and quirks of a loved one. These bespoke creations are truly works of art, and they can take hours of planning, sketching, templating, cutting, and shaping – not to mention the skill it takes to bring the design to life with flowers and other materials.

Now, with the new shape service, florists can get the exact shape of Oasis Floral Foam they need straight away, so they can skip straight to the fun part: flowering.

How it works
Florists can order a shape of their choice either through their local wholesaler, or via Oasis' website.

Ordering a custom shape is quick and easy: Choose your cut style – Select Cut Out, Etched, or Raised depending on the look and feel you want.

Pick your foam size and shape – Choose from different sheet sizes to suit your design.

Set your quantity – Need one, or multiples in different sizes? You're in control.

Customise your design – Browse a huge image library (over 18 million icons) by searching keywords such as 'turtle' or 'golf clubs' to find the perfect match.

Add to basket and preview – Your selected icon will display in the basket so you can double-check before you order.

Each foam piece is made to order and hand-packed in the UK, and can be shipped out within 24 hours of ordering.

The Oasis Foam Frames Shapes feature Oasis Ideal Wet Floral Foam to a depth of 32mm, which provides a water source for fresh flower stems and allows designs to flourish for as long as possible. The 21mm dry foam backing then provides a sturdy, waterproof base for the design. Stands are available that can be used to display custom shapes, by glueing or screwing the backing board to the stand.
